MyLandgard – B2B multi-shop
While working as an Junior Art Director at Medienwerft GmbH, the client Landgard hired us to create a B2B webshop that should act as a digital twin of their local specialist retail stores. The goal of the project was that all Landgard customers could digitally access all products and services from multiple local specialist retail stores. That meant standardizing and combining the data of 4 different stores – Landgard Cash&Carry, Bloomways, Gartenbaubedarf and Deko&Floristikbedarf.
We in the UX/UI team were tasked to design everything from account registration to the last step in the checkout process. The most challenging part for us was making sure that the customer could always see all the necessary information about the various products at any step in the process.

After finalizing the digital B2B multi-shop solution – now called MyLandgard – the next step was to further iterate on and optimize the checkout process for the upcoming "Landgard Ordertage" event, where all retail stores present their products to various B2B clients.
To utilize MyLandgard for the Ordertage, we updated the shopping cart, streamlined the checkout journey, and implemented a floating QR-Code scanner button. With the QR-Code scanner, visitors could scan a product, add it to their cart, and edit the quantity from their phone—instead of manually placing orders at each retailer. The improved cart automatically sorts all scanned products from different retailers into separate sub-carts with their own shipping dates.
